I founded Holistic Mental Health Counseling to provide a safe place of support that will lead to hope, health and healing. I am a licensed mental health therapist with over 17 years of experience. Helping others is my passion and I consider it both a blessing and privilege to be able to dedicate my time to making a difference in someone’s life. Areas of treatment include Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders (difficulty coping with life events and transitions), and Integrative Mental Health.

As your therapist, it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change, for you. Therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the life you desire. I look forward to working with you to address your challenges and help you to realize your goals.


Treatment Approach

Every person is unique, I use an individualized approach to treatment that may include motivational interviewing, cognitive
behavioral therapy or other evidence-based types of therapy based on your unique needs. Through our therapy sessions, I can help you to learn new coping skills, identify and change negative thinking patterns and create lasting changes. I will support you through life transitions so that you can identify your strengths and move forward with renewed hope. I am also certified in Integrative Mental Health.

Additionally, there is a growing body of research that supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. It is my mission to help my clients move past what’s blocking them from reaching their full potential individually and in their relationships.

An integrative/holistic approach is healing centered and considers the whole person. mind, body and Spirit, Anxiety and depression can have many root causes- physical, emotional, and or environmental.  Which is why I take a holistic individualized approach to developing your treatment plan with an emphasis on overall wellbeing. This may include making nutrition, diet and lifestyle changes in addition to talk therapy to optimize your health.
