Your Investment in Therapy
At HMH Counseling, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized therapy services that empower you to overcome obstacles, cultivate resilience, and thrive on your own terms. Our goal is to make the financial aspect of therapy as stress-free as possible so that you can focus on your well-being. We’re here to support you in navigating your insurance coverage and reimbursement process, ensuring that you receive the care you deserve.
HMH Counseling offers both out-of-pocket/private pay and insurance options. Some clients choose to pay directly to avoid insurance company requirements. Insurance companies require a mandatory diagnosis for billing. Private pay allows the client to decide the duration and frequency of treatment, rather than being dictated by insurance. Finally, records can stay completely private, rather than being forced to inform insurance companies of treatment and diagnoses.
To schedule an appointment, you can book online now using our Book Now feature.
Our rates are as follows:
Initial Appointment – 50 minutes | $150.00
Individual therapy – 50 minutes | $150.00

Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
